“ If I could give MORE stars, I would. My wife and I stumbled across this gem of a diner. We wanted to try some place new for dinner and AJ Family Restaurant, did not disappoint. This place is not flashy on the inside or outside, but it's very clean and comfortable. Now let's talk about the menu... there's something for everyone. There are Greek items, as well as American fare. My wife and I shared the stuffed grape leaves for an appetizer and it was delicious. For our main course, she had the Athena Chicken Wrap. It looked amazing and I'm kicking myself for not stealing a bite. My dish was the Flounder and Calabash. All I can say is WOW, that was really good. Yes, it was fried, but not greasy. The fries were crisp and the cole slaw was great. At this point, I was stuffed to capacity. However, a fat man finds a way to eat dessert. My wife and I shared the banana pudding. It was a mixture of banana bread, banana pudding, sliced bananas and topped with whipped cream. Now let's discuss the price. Our bill was 45. The value here is top notch. As for the service.... perfect!!!!! Whoever owns and runs this place, you are doing an amazing job. We look forward to coming back for dinner as well as trying out your breakfast. ”
“ A couple miles off of 485 is AJ‘s restaurant. It’s delicious. It’s good value for your money and the service was incredible. Don’t get distracted by all the chain crap on the way here. Stay the course and read the rewards. The hummus appetizer was delicious, creamy (and homemade!) the Gyro sandwich, and bacon, egg and cheese bagel were both delicious and the milkshake (only 3) was great! Overall a very, very good spot you won’t be disappointed just go. ”
“ Really nice family environment, Katie and lila are so very sweet, very good at their jobs. The food is excellent. They feed me several times a week and I even went in a few days ago,my card was not going through and sweet lil lila paid for my dinner. That just warmed my heart. Katie has remembered me and even my voice when I call on the phone since the first day I came in. Love love the place. Very special. Go get y’all something to eat, it’s delicious! ”
“ I ordered the Buffalo chicken pita. Comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and a taziki ranch sauce. It was delicious but messy and very worth it ! The fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly also ! I will order again! ”
“ I love the employees and the staff here. Very friendly. Always greeted when we enter the facility. We go out to our workout. My son used to get the kids meal cheeseburger and now he got up to the double cheeseburger so he loves their cheeseburgers and the people know his name. So all we got to do is call in and be like this is Ricky and they know our order. So overall I love this place and the employees that work here. The food is good too ”

“ This is my go to diner like restaurant near my house which is tough competition, especially with sun valley cafe down the street. The breakfast is pretty good and I really enjoy the Cajun chicken and lemon pepper pitas. The green beans are the sleeper hit at this restaurant. They’re cooked in a tomato sauce. My wife is a big fan of the calabash shrimp and flounder. The only negative I have is the interior is a little shabby and the tables could use an update. Certainly no reason not to visit though. ”
